IPL 2024 - Quick 50 for SRH's Travis Head while RCB bowler's bad form continues

Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) bowling woes continue as Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) opener, Travis Head, reaches his 50 in just 20 balls in Match 30 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. With the Powerplay ending, SRH has already posted 76 runs without losing a wicket.

Travis Head has smashed 5 maximums and 3 fours, while his partner Abhishek Sharma scored 23 runs with 2 fours and 1 six. RCB has used four bowlers, Will Jacks, Reece Topley, Yash Dayal, and Lockie Ferguson, all searching for wickets to stop the 76-run partnership. In fact, Topley went on to leak 20 runs in his first over.

As for the clash, Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and have opted to field. They made a few changes to their squad by resting Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj and bringing in Lockie Ferguson. As for SRH, they have gone with the same team, which has helped them win crucial games.

Faf du Plessis said, "We are going to have a chase. It has been the same throughout the season. It's been a bit slower. We haven't played our best cricket. Feels like most of the time we haven't played to our full potential. We have made changes to see if we can turn it around. Maxwell is sitting out, Siraj is sitting out. Ferguson is coming in".

Currently, after 9 overs, SRH has already cruised to 119 runs with Head scoring 79 runs but losing his partner Abhishek for 34.
