Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed a massive boost for women’s cricket, announcing two high-profile, multi-format home series against powerhouses India and Australia. These series, stretching from late 2026 into early 2027, will feature crucial ICC Women's Championship ODIs and two Test matches as well.

The South African summer will kick off with a visit from the Indian Women’s team in December. India will play three ODIs, which carry significant importance as part of the ICC Women's Championship 2025-29 cycle, which is also the primary pathway for ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2029 qualification.
The highlight of the tour will be a one-off Test match in Gqeberha. This will mark only the fourth time these two sides meet in the longest format in Women's Cricket and will be a historic juncture for the venue, which hasn't hosted a Women’s Test since 1960.
South Africa vs India full series schedule:
Following the India series, the Proteas Women will host the Australian side in March 2027 for a full multi-format tour consisting of three T20Is, three ODIs, and a four-day Test.
This Test match will be a massive test for Laura Wolvaardt’s side, marking only their second-ever red-ball meeting with the Aussies. South Africa will be looking for reprieve after a heavy innings thrashing in Perth back in early 2024.
