During this World Cup, he constantly travelled with his girlfriend Mahieka Sharma, giving the audience a chance to adore the couple. Videos have gone viral where Pandya was seen making sweet animated gestures towards his girlfriend, after matches, making them an adorable pair. Recently, ahead of the finals, the al;-rounder introduced his girlfriend to coach Gautam Gambhir in the airport. 

Gambhir shook hands with Pandya and went on to give a side hug to Mahieka who was standing next to the cricketer, hand-in-hand. The fans extended their warm wishes to the couple on social media.

New Zealand and India to clash in T20 World Cup 2026 final

The New Zealand team is all set to rub shoulders against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The players are all in readiness as the one-month long tournament is in its final stage. The Kiwis entered the finals by beating South Africa in semi-final 1 while India defeated England in semi-final 2.

The upcoming game is expected to be in intriguing encounter since the semi-finals were terrific. India's Sanju Samson's 89-run knock and other cameos from the team members helped them post a mammoth total on the board, that didn't look so huge once England started the chase.
