In both South Africa and Hyderabad, Virat Kohli had returned home due to personal reasons, marking the latest occurrences of such incidents. Despite reaching Hyderabad and beginning practice for the 1st Test against England, Kohli mysteriously withdrew from the clash just a day before it began, citing personal reasons.

According to the BCCI's report, Kohli formally requested permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India to withdraw from the initial two Tests of the forthcoming IDFC First Bank Test series against England. The report further stated that Kohli communicated with skipper Rohit Sharma, the team management, and the selectors, expressing that, "while representing the country has always been his top priority, certain personal situations demand his presence and undivided attention."

Amidst all the confusion, reports had emerged suggesting that Virat Kohli attended the inauguration of the Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya on Monday, January 22. Despite conflicting reports regarding his presence, fans on social media asserted having spotted the cricketer.

According to some accounts, a convoy believed to be carrying Virat Kohli was observed speeding through the streets of Ayodhya, hinting at his potential attendance at the Ram Mandir inauguration. A Jagran report indicated that Kohli departed from the Indian camp following his practice session on January 21 to participate in the ceremony. 

Virat Kohli's mother unwell:

Rumors had also circulated suggesting that the former India skipper took a break from the first two Test matches due to his mother Saroj Kohli's illness. A Facebook user wrote, "Heard Virat's mother is suffering from liver issues and is serious. My strong prayers for his mother's good health. Parents getting ill is the worst pain you will ever feel. Really tough times for Kohli. Prayers with his mother."

However, the cricketer's brother Vikas addressed the false rumors circulating on the internet. Vikas clarified on his official Instagram handle that their mother is "absolutely fit and fine." He urged everyone to refrain from spreading unverified news.

Anushka Sharma's pregnancy:

Several reports surfaced stating that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expecting their second child after Vamika. While the couple has not confirmed the news, netizens have speculated that Anushka's possible pregnancy could be the reason for Virat taking a break.

These speculations arose primarily due to observations of Anushka's outfits and appearance in recent public outings, leading many to believe that she might be pregnant. However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation from the couple regarding this speculation.

Virat Kohli out abroad:

The latest news surrounding Kohli, who withdrew from the first two Tests against England, suggests that he is currently not even in India. According to Cricbuzz, Kohli is currently abroad and his absence raises uncertainty regarding his return for the upcoming third Test, scheduled to begin on February 15. Despite the nine-day gap between Day 5 of the second Test and Day one of the third, it remains unclear whether Kohli will be back in time for the Rajkot game.
