The Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya was inaugurated on Monday, January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing the Pran Pratishtha. Several celebrities, businessmen and sports personalities have attended the event after receiving personal invitations, including India's ace batter Virat Kohli. Although there have been conflicting reports about his presence, fans on social media claim to have spotted the cricketer.

According to some sources, a convoy carrying Virat Kohli was seen speeding through the streets of Ayodhya, suggesting his possible attendance at the Ram Mandir inauguration. A Jagran report stated that Kohli left the Indian camp after his practice session on January 21 to be part of the ceremony, and a viral video on social media captured his convoy in the city.

Contrary reports, however, suggest that Kohli may have skipped the event, possibly due to the upcoming India vs England Test series scheduled to begin on January 25 in Hyderabad. Fans are now divided over the news, with some questioning how the cricketer could have gone unnoticed by the numerous cameras present in Ayodhya.

Cricketers invited for the Ram Mandir Inauguration:

Former Indian cricketers Anil Kumble, Venkatesh Prasad, and Sachin Tendulkar were present in Ayodhya to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Others who received invitations also included Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin.

England's tour of India:

The India vs England Test series is set to commence on January 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The second Test will take place in Visakhapatnam, followed by the third Test in Rajkot. The fourth Test is scheduled for Rajkot as well, with the final Test to be held in Dharamsala.

India will be focused on putting on a strong match against the Bazball side and bolstering their position in the World Test Championship (WTC) table.
