With the awards season of 2024 kicking off with the Golden Globes 2024, we are now moving towards other prestigious red carpets and gala nights. This Sunday (Monday in India), the West ascended on the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards, and just like last Monday, the starry affair was one to be hooked to. While it is given that Oppenheimer and Barbie are certainly ruling this award season on the movie front Beef, Succession, and The Bear cannot be stopped from their domination. This is yet another night that has validated the same. The Critics Choice Awards 2024 took place in Santa Monica, California, USA, and concluded just now as we bring to you this piece. It looks like Oppenheimer is taking revenge on Barbie for defeating it at the Box Office battle and leaving the Margot Robbie starrer behind at every possible award night. As the latest one concludes, the Christopher Nolan Magnum Opus now stands with 8 awards of which are also the Best Director and Best Picture. Barbie took home 6 trophies in various departments including Original Song, and Best Hair and Makeup. On the Television front, Beef by Netflix is the clear winner as it took home 4 honors, including Ali Wong and Steven Yeun’s another win. Succession is named the Best Series.
