The genre seems to be the flavor of the season as all producers, streamers, and filmmakers try to cash in on its popularity and demand it. The star, popularly known for his parts in franchise films like The Expendables has been giving us some of the most interesting action movies over the years. This year he is back at claiming his land with a new movie that has already been released on the big screen, and the reviews have already praised how good the actor is in them. Yes, we are talking about The Beekeeper starring Jason Statham which was released in theatres and took his fans by storm. But for the Indian audience who couldn't catch it on the big screen, the movie is now making its way to streaming. The Beekeeper will be released on Lionsgate Play this week and we are precisely four days away from it.

A small-time criminal played by Jason Statham chooses to walk away from that life and settle in London with his family to lead a normal life. He struggles to make ends meet as a car dealer. One fine day, his ex-girlfriend walks in with a lucrative offer, which is to rob a bank. He gets on board with the heist only to realize there is a whole lot more than what meets the eye.

Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels

Cast: Jason Statham, Jason Flemyng, and Nick Moran.

Director: Guy Ritchie.

A buddy drama, the Jason Statham way. Four friends sit for a card game with a gangster and lose a lot of money. Unable to pay him, they hatch a crooked path that will bring them money and wave off their debt. But life isn't that easy, because for these four, it definitely isn't. This hilarious action saga is something that you should have watched by now, but it's never too late to watch a good film.

The Expendables Franchise

Cast: Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Liam Hemsworth.

This is by far the most popular entry in Jason Statham’s filmography. What happens when a group of mercenaries is the only hope to save us from several life-altering situations? Every Expendables movie explores situations so unique, and the fan base is fun and strong enough to tackle it all. The love for this franchise has a separate niche of itself and is unmatched.

Wrath Of Man

Cast: Jason Statham, Holt McCallany, and Josh Hartnett.

Director: Guy Ritchie.

The mystery and thrills walk hand in hand in Wrath Of Man which plays in layers. Defining this movie without spoilers is nearly impossible, but we will try. A new security guard for a cash truck is very mysterious in his behavior. His heist skills are impeccable. Everyone is confused about where he came from, but no one can believe when the mystery is solved.

Redemption

Cast: Jason Statham, Agata Buzek, and Benedict Wong.

Director: Steven Knight.

An ex-special forces soldier is left on the streets of London, homeless and damaged, after he returns from a war-like situation in Afghanistan. Now he has to fight one more war at home, and he has no one backing him except for a sister who is a nun. Redemption has an interesting plot, and you will enjoy it.
