Dragon Fist (1979)

Stillwater (2021)

This is not exactly a revenge drama, but a film where a man is fighting injustice. He finds his estranged daughter imprisoned in a foreign land where he doesn't speak the language. When he can no longer take it, he decides to get her out of there. She is accused of a murder she claims she did not commit. The movie received mixed reviews upon release, but everyone praised Matt Damon, who delivered a very fine performance as the desperate father.

John Wick Franchise (2014 - 2023)

Cast: Keanu Reeves, Halle Berry, Ian McShane

A man sets out to avenge his dead dog. Yes, someone enters his house one day and kills a puppy that was a gift from his deceased wife. The movies are a wild ride, featuring a man fighting a world of assassins while surviving every single encounter. The latest one, which is the fourth movie in the franchise, is intense, and you will be fascinated and shocked by the action sequences. However, the ending is emotional, and we suggest you sit down with a box of tissues.
