The year 2024 has definitely marked the comebacks that several Bollywood fans deserve! If 2023 was the return of Shah Rukh Khan, this year we definitely see the comeback of the OG dancers in Bollywood, that is, Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor. With Fighter's Sher Khul Gaye song, HR fans got the visual delight of witnessing the actor showing his dancing prowess once again after a very long time. Not just that, since his debut in 2003 with Ishq Vishk Shahid has proven that he is one of the best dancers in the film industry, and after almost a decade, there's a dance number picturising him that came out today.

The film marks Shahid's first full-fledged dance song since the 2015 film Shaandaar leaving fans yearning for his electrifying moves for almost a decade.

Shahid's dancing prowess has been synonymous with his illustrious career. From his early days in films like Ishq Vishk (2003) to his unforgettable performances in Jab We Met (2007) and Kaminey (2009), the actor's nimble feet and impeccable rhythm established him as one of Bollywood's finest dancers. Even in Udta Punjab (2016), there's a glimpse of his dance but not fully a number as the actor played the role of a drug addict Punjabi rockstar who is on a run. Then came films such as Rangoon (2017), Padmaavat (2018), Kabir Singh (2019), and Jersey (2022), which were more performance-oriented roles.

The year 2023 marked the OTT debut of Shahid with the Prime Video web series Farzi as well as the film Bloody Daddy which premiered on JioCinema.

Meanwhile, in Shahid's absence from the dance floor, Bollywood experienced a noticeable void. The industry, known for its vibrant and energetic dance sequences, sorely missed the actor's unique blend of grace, agility, and enthusiasm. Fans eagerly awaited the revival of Shahid's dance magic, making his return to onscreen dancing with the Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya song a momentous occasion. The film not only reaffirms his status as a dance icon but also brings back the infectious energy and joy that his dance sequences have consistently delivered over the years.

Jani choreographed the dance track, which also features Kriti Sanon, matching Shahid's energy. The song definitely reminds me of Shaandaar with the title track as well as the Gulabo song, which are still the favourites of many.
