Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon have been in the news for a while now. With their next film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, the talented duo is ready to share the screen for the first time and dazzle us with their chemistry. Our interest has already been captured by the romance drama's captivating title, compelling trailer, and enticing songs.

The film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah and is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Laxman Utekar, and Jyoti Deshpande.

Release date

On February 9, 2024, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya will be released in theaters.

Plot

In the romance movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, an advanced AI robot named SIFRA (Kriti Sanon) captures the heart of Aryan (Shahid Kapoor), who discovers the truth and brings about a revolution in his life.

Cast and Crew

Apart from Kriti and Shahid, the film will also see veteran actors including Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, and Rakesh Bedi, among others. Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi are the writers and directors of the film and it is their debut film. Under the banners of Jio Studios and Maddock Film, the film is produced. Mitraz, Raghav, Tanishk Bagchi, and Sachin-Jigar composed the soundtracks for the romantic comedy.

Trailer

The trailer of the film which was released two weeks ago shows Shahid and Kriti meeting and eventually falling in love at the beginning of the trailer. After that, things go ahead and he takes her to live with his joint family in North India. His family members include his grandpa Dharmendra, father Rakesh Bedi, and brother Rajesh Kumar. Everyone is captivated and impressed by Kriti's persona and her sophisticated abilities. However, the film then sees a big twist when Shahid's scientist maternal aunt (played by Dimple Kapadia) enters the picture. It appears that Kriti is a robot.

Shahid and Kriti appear to have a brilliant on-screen chemistry in the film, based on the trailer. However, the plot is revealed in the trailer a bit too much, so there isn't much room for the audience to be astonished when the movie opens on the big screens.

OTT platform

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has been scheduled to be released in theatres on February 9, 2024. As for the OTT platform, the makers have not confirmed the streaming platform yet but watch this space for the latest updates.
