Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana was Vicky Kaushal's first Hindi, where he had a limited screen space. After making his acting debut in 2012, Vicky featured in a couple of films. But it was Uri: The Surgical Strike which became a turning point in his Bollywood journey. There's been no looking back for Vicky after that. The actor delivered a successful film titled Zara Hatke Zara Bachke in 2023. Almost a year after its theatrical release, the movie is now ready for its OTT premiere on May 17, on JioCinema. Raazi

Meghna Gulzar's spy-thriller Raazi was headlined by Alia Bhatt while Vicky Kaushal played a pivotal role in the film. Vicky was seen as Iqbal Syed, who is married to Alia's character Sehmat Khan. The 2018 film was based on Harinder Sikka's 2008 novel Calling Sehmat. It is a true story of a RAW agent, who upon her father's request, gets married into a family of military officers in Pakistan. She agrees to do so to pass on information to India before the Indo-Pak war of 1971. You can revisit this film on Amazon Prime Video.

Sam Bahadur

Director: Meghna Gulzar

OTT platform: ZEE5

Star cast: Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh

Helmed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur had Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role. The film was released on December 1 and clashed with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal at the box office. Vicky essayed the character of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw in the movie. The movie was written by Meghna and Shantanu Shrivastava. While Vicky played the titular role, Sanya Malhotra was seen as his on-screen wife Silloo Mankeshaw. You can watch this movie on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.

Sardar Udham

Director: Shoojit Sircar

OTT platform: Amazon Prime Video

Star cast: Vicky Kaushal, Banita Sandhu, Amol Parashar

Sardar Udham was released directly on Amazon Prime Video in 2021. The film featured Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film was based on freedom fighter Udham Singh, Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. The movie opened to a positive response upon its OTT release on the platform.

Uri: The Surgical Strike

Director: Aditya Dhar

OTT platform: ZEE5

Star cast: Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina

Helmed by filmmaker Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Sugrical Srtike was a dramatised account of the true event of the 2016 Uri attack. It featured Vicky Kaushal as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill while Yami Gautam essayed the character of an undercover RAW agent. Uri hit the big screen in 2019 and turned out to be one of the most successful movies of Vicky's career. If you wish to watch the film, you can stream it on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
