Allari Naresh is a seasoned actor who has been around for over one and a half decades now. He is known as the king of comedy, but of late, he has been doing mostly serious films.

Next in line is 12A Railway Colony, which is all set to hit the screens on November 27, 2025. The trailer has caught the attention of many, and speaking about staying away from comedy films, Naresh says that the kind of comedy that was rampant a few years ago does not work anymore.

“We used to crack jokes, body-shame other actors, take jokes on ourselves, and films had below-the-belt comedy that was loved by the audience. Now, times have changed, and today’s generation will not enjoy such comedies,” says Naresh.

But he is quite excited about his new film, 12A Railway Colony, which is a full-on thriller. Speaking about the film, Naresh says that the story impressed him the moment he heard it. “My character has an intense backdrop, and the way he faces challenges in the film is showcased superbly,” says Naresh.

12A Railway Colony has wrapped up its censor with a U/A certificate and has locked a crisp runtime of two hours and five minutes. The film is backed by the director of Polimera and Polimera 2, Anil Vishwanath.

He has penned the story and dialogues of 12A Railway Colony, and Naresh says that the twists and turns in the film will be loved by one and all.

Allari Naresh is a superb actor but is looking for that one good hit that can change his career once again. Sai Kumar, Viva Harsha, Saddam, and Getup Srinu play key roles in the film, which has music by Bheems Ceciroleo, who is in top form with back-to-back hits.
