Parambrata Chatterjee is still soaking in the spirit of Habji Gabji’s success. Directed by Raj Chakraborty, the actor plays a father of a child who suffers from 'gaming disorder'. Meanwhile, Parambrata’s tryst with Bollywood continues. As he gears up to play the lead character in Kannada director Pavan Wadeyar’s Notary, he has also been working in Sudhir Mishra’s unnamed project – a part of Anubhav Sinha-produced anthology – with Taapsee Pannu. Besides, Parambrata has worked in a SonyLiv thriller Jehanabad and completed the shooting of Nikhil Advani's Mumbai Diaries season 2 with Konkona Sen Sharma and Satyajit Dubey.

As his work progresses in Bollywood, the actor-turned-director talked about his co-stars with OTTplay. In Zee5’s Mithya, Parambrata worked with Huma Qureshi. Talking about his experience of working with her, he said, “Huma has become a very good friend. She is a lovely person. She is great to hang around with for adda and so on. She is a fun person. She is also a very genuine person. Her energy level is very high.”

Parambrata’s recent work with Raveena Tandon in Aranyak, which is streaming on Netflix, gained critical acclaim. While talking about his experience of working with Raveena, the actor said it was like a ‘fanboy’ moment for him. “While Huma became a friend, Raveena is a lot more senior. It was a kind of fan-boy moment for me to be able to work with her. Of course, we shared a lot of camaraderies while filming Aranyak. Whenever we get a chance we meet in Mumbai. She was here in Kolkata to attend an award show. And I won multiple awards there. She congratulated me and it was heartwarming,” Parambrata told us.

Parambrata has recently completed shooting his next directorial venture, Boudi Canteen, which features Subhashree Ganguly and Soham Chakraborty in lead.
