After Forensic Vikrant Massey will next be seen in Gaslight, in which he is paired opposite Sara Ali Khan. The film marks their first outing together and also features Chitrangda Singh in a pivotal role. During an exclusive interaction with OTTplay, Massey opened up about sharing the screen space with Sara for Gaslight.

The talented actor exclusively told us, "It was fantastic working with Sara, Chitrangda Singh, and Pavan Kirpalani, who's the director of the film. I collaborated with him for the first time, and worked with Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri also."

Further praising Sara, Massey said, "I had a ball, especially with Sara, because she's such an incredible person and most of my work was with her. I had a great time working with her. I'm really looking forward to that film, and it's a thriller again. But it's an investigative psychological drama thriller. That's way different than Forensic is."

Speaking about his upcoming projects, the Love Hostel actor shared, "I also have Mumbaikar with Santosh Sivan coming out and also Blackout."

Meanwhile, Massey also spoke about the fact that he is missing the big screen experience as it's been two years since he had a theatrical release.

The actor said that Chhapaak was his last theatrical outing before COVID occurred. He absolutely misses seeing himself on the big screen, and he definitely wants other people to see him too.

But Massey would rather concentrate on his current priorities. His goal is to be consistent, release new material frequently, and engage his viewers through storytelling. It will be released in theatres if the appropriate screenplay or the right time is found for it to do so.

On being asked if his current project affects the decision of his upcoming work, Massey revealed that he doubts he would want to work on similar genres all in one year. The audience has diverse needs that one should try to meet. For instance, he wouldn't knowingly do a film like Forensic right now, at least for a year, or if there was anything incredibly interesting, he would. The situation changes completely if he truly is powerless to resist participating in it. However, the goal is to provide the audience with a variety of offerings throughout the year. So he makes an effort to accomplish what he can with the few opportunities he has.
