'Hrithik Roshan took a great care of me during Fighter shoot': Akshay Oberoi | Exclusive

Akshay Oberoi shared a screen space with Hrithik Roshan in Fighter. The film also featured Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone was released in theaters in January 2024. Although the film received mixed responses, it performed well at the box office. The film also featured Akshay Oberoi in a key role. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Akshay shared his working experience with Hrithik in Fighter and called him 'wonderful.'

During a recent exclusive interaction with OTTplay, Akshay Oberoi shared his working experience with Hrithik Roshan in Fighter.

Calling Hrithik his influence in life, Akshay said, "That is a dream come true. I have been telling this story recently that I moved to India to be an actor because of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. I was like both of our eyes are same so let's go. He is such an influence in my life and to have worked with him in this big film I am so glad that I met him. He was so wonderful and took a great care of me. He is incredible."

Fighter plot

Fighter follows a group of elite fighter pilots who face dangerous missions and internal struggles to protect India from terrorist attacks. Akshay Oberoi played the role of Squadron Leader Basheer "Bash" Khan. On the other hand, Captain Rakesh "Rocky" Jai Singh was played by Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone played Squadron Leader Minal "Minni" Rathore, and Hrithik was seen as Squadron Leader Shamsher "Patty" Pathania. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand.

Akshay Oberoi's work front

On the professional front, Akshay has several projects in his hand. His film, Kisko Tha Pata will be released on Zee Cinema on December 25. He also has Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari co-starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, his South debut movie Toxic starring Yash, Two Zero One Four with Jackie Shroff and a new psychological thriller that goes on floors soon.
