Once a producer synonymous with well-made action entertainers and light-hearted family dramas, MS Raju is now attempting to reinvent himself as a director. His earlier film, Dirty Hari, emerged a surprise success in the digital space and he’s now following it up with an adult comedy, 7 Days 6 Nights, that hits theatres on June 24.

A new release trailer of 7 Days 6 Nights was launched earlier today. The show takes us through the highs, lows, confusions and misunderstandings in the love lives of its lead characters played by Sumanth Ashwin, Meher Chahal, Rohan and Kritika Shetty. However, it’s obvious that most conversations between the characters revolve around their sex lives and double entendre.

While Rohan plays the more adventurous guy among the lot, Sumanth Ashwin’s character has a few reservations about his romantic encounters. MS Raju has tried hard to understand the approach of the modern-day generation towards relationships and blends his tale with humour and wacky scenarios. The film is produced by Sumanth Ashwin, Rajinikanth S under Wild Honey Productions.

7 Days 6 Nights has been shot across several locations in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Udipi, Gokarna and Goa. The makers are confident that the film would reach out to its target audience and say Sumanth Ashwin has delivered his career-best performance for the rom-com. The contributions from the technical team will be another asset, they add.

With music by Samarth Gollapudi, the film has cinematography by Nani Chamidisetty and is edited by Junaid Siddiqui. Bhaskar Mudavath is the production designer.
