But his wife, Nayana, lacks any concern for him or their relationship; thus his dreams are met with dismay. After Nayana fabricates allegations of domestic violence and harassment under the guise of dowry, he immediately encounters legal challenges and ends up in a family court upending his life. Sahadevan's battle against injustice and his legal analysis of the truth forms the crux of the movie.

The main focus of this story is Sahadevan's legal battle against his wife's unfounded accusations.
