Is Aadu 3 getting postponed

Vijay Babu, the producer of the Aadu franchise, confirmed on March 12 that the Jayasurya-starrer comedy film will hit theatres on March 19. The team said that they have been monitoring the global developments but despite the concerns, Aadu 3 will hit screens , as per the original plan.

What is Aadu 3 about

Aadu 3 is the third installment of a comedy franchise, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The first part Aadu released a decade ago in 2015, but was a flop at theatres. However, the film found love online and enjoyed a good fan following, prompting the makers to come up with the sequel. Jayasurya in a recent interview said that they never considered making the second part, and that it is the love that people showered on Aadu that prompted them to consider the second installment.

Saiju Kurup, Vinayakan Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, and Indrans play other fun roles in the movie. On Thursday, the makers also dropped a new poster of Saiju Kurup’s character from the movie, Padakurup. Though Saiju plays Arakkal Abu in the Aadu franchise, but part 3 includes a different timeline where his character is padakurup (commander in chief).
