Priya Bapat and Umesh Kamat are back with the third instalment of the Marathi comedy-drama show Aani Kay Hava. The couple in the show finds quirky ways to keep their five-year-old marriage alive. In the first season, the duo enjoyed their honeymoon period and explored many firsts as a married couple.

In the second season, both of them navigate different emotions as they celebrated their third anniversary. Now, the third season will see the couple marking 5-years of their relationship with trust, love and a little madness at its core. The upcoming season will also explore life during a nationwide lockdown.

Talking about the show, Priya said that the forthcoming season would reflect a change in their relationship dynamic, as it explores married life during a lockdown. “After five years of marriage in Jui and Saket’s life – they continue to grow together and handle the curveballs that life throws their way,” the actress spoke about the show. The City of Dreams actress also added that she enjoyed stepping into the shoes of Jui once again for Aani Kay Hava.

Umesh in a media statement opined that for a marriage to last long and be successful, there has to be good communication and companionship in the relationship. He further added, “The fun banter between this couple and supporting each other through our problems mirrors Priya’s and my relationship offscreen as well.”

Meanwhile, the director of the comedy series, Varun Narvekar, felt that the upcoming season is a beautiful take on modern relationships and the lockdown helped them explore newer dimensions to marriage. The filmmaker further mentioned that the lead couple of the show will continue to keep the spark alive and navigate through the course of life.

Directed by Muramba fame Varun Narvekar, the Mirchi Originals show premieres on MX Player on August 6.
