Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor joined hands for Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, while Vishnu Manchu narrates the tale of Kannappa. A thriller series is what Malayalam has to offer, while the hit film of Su From So is also expected to make its much-awaited OTT debut this week. Latest OTT releases to stream in Indian languages

Hindi: Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

Vikrant Massey appears as the blind musician Jahaan, while Shanaya Kapoor plays theatre artiste Saba in this romance drama, which is based on renowned author Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It. The film, helmed by Santosh Singh, failed to a strike a chord with the audiences, but the makers are hoping that there will be more appreciation in the OTT space.

Telugu: Kannappa

Vishnu Manchu plays the titular role in this film, which he has also penned. Helmed by filmmaker Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa narrates a warrior’s spiritual transformative journey as the atheist goes on to become a devotee of Lord Shiva. The film also made headlines for the cameos which saw actors like Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal making brief but impactful appearances. Malayalam: Kammattam

Inspector Antonio George is tasked with the probe, after Samuel Umman dies in what appears to be a hit-and-run case. But there are enough clues that point at foul play, and the cops begin to hunt for the motive and suspects of the murder. Jeo Baby, Akhil Kavalayoor and Ajay Vasudev play other key roles in the latest Malayalam web series.

Punjabi: Yaaran Da Rutbaa

This action-packed Punjabi thriller film delves into the betting mafia, focussing on two rival gangs. The film picks up pace when one of the gang leaders is killed, and his right-hand emerges as the suspect. Raman Dhaaga, Dev Kharoud and Rahul Dev play pivotal roles in this film.

Kannada: Su From So

In a bid to get out of a tough spot, Ashoka comes up with a bizarre ploy that has far-reaching effects that he never imagined. The result is viewers get a fun tale that is as entertaining as engrossing. JP Thuminad has written, directed and starred in the lead role of Ashoka in this film, which scored a hit at the Kannada box office.
