Aarya 2 trailer crosses 30 million views, Sushmita Sen thanks fans for the love

The trailer for the latest season of the Emmy nominated series was released on November 25

It seems that fans are openly embracing Aarya 2 with as much vigour as they did its predecessor. The trailer for the upcoming season of the Sushmita Sen starrer thriller series, which dropped on November 25, has already garnered more than 30 million views.

Sushmita took to her official social media handles to express her elation at the news. Her post accompanied a still of her eponymous character from the hit show. We see her wielding a gun in hand.

Aarya follows the story of a woman whose life takes a turn for the worse when her husband gets murdered by the drug mafia he works for. When the gang comes after her and her children, she must take some drastic measures to defend herself.

The second season will follow the titular protagonist as she acts as a protector to her children. Obviously, they are still not free from the dangers of those who want them dead. Sushmita will reprise her role on the show’s new season, which also features Sikandar Kher, Vikas Kumar, Mayo Sarao, Ankur Bhatia, Akash Khurana and Dilnaz Irani among others. The series is created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi.

The thriller series had become widely popular among fans and critics alike and was nominated at this year’s International Emmy Awards for best drama series.

The second season of Aarya will premiere on December 10, 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar.
