Aasif Sheikh ignores big screen comment, shifts focus to TV actors in Dhurandhar

When Siddharth Kannan asked Aasif Sheikh’s reaction to coming on the big screen, the Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 actor avoided the question. Instead, he directed it to how many TV actors are involved with Dhurandhar. Right from Rakesh Bedi to Gaurav Gera and Saumya Tandon, he points out how the film has TV actors performing their finest. “TV actors ke liye yeh ek acchi opening hai,” Aasif shared, adding, “Sab ne successfully accha kaam kiya hai.”

Aasif Sheikh on OTT stereotyping TV actors

The actor stated how, in comparison, OTT casting directors still discard them over the excuse of ‘TV actors.’ Aasif then promised by stating, “We are much more efficient, committed, serious and sincere because of our upbringing. We don’t compromise on our work since it will show up on the screen. You have to give your best in your capacity as an actor, no matter what.”
