ZEE5 has been on one of the earliest OTT platforms in India to have gone big on originals in Hindi and several other regional languages, right when many couldn't realise the market potential of the digital medium. Abhay, starring Kunal Kemmu in the role of a police officer Abhay Pratap Singh, turned out to be one of the most popular shows for ZEE5 over the last few years, earning more fans with every season. Well, the show, directed by Ken Ghosh, is back for a third season and promises to take audiences on a roller-coaster ride this time as well.

For the uninitiated, Abhay 3 will simultaneously premiere in three languages - Hindi, Tamil , and Telugu. The gripping trailer and promos leading up to the release hint at a nail-biting drama with several interesting twists and turns. Vijay Raaz, Rahul Dev, Asha Negi, Nidhi Singh, Tanuj Virwani, Divya Agarwal and Vidya Malvade also play crucial roles in the show. Meanwhile, actor Kunal Kemmu and director Ken Ghosh were in Hyderabad this week to promote the show among Telugu audiences.

At the promotional event, Kunal Kemmu stated that Telugu viewers always have a knack to pick, encourage good content. He expressed his happiness about earning acceptance from them for Abhay. The Blood Money actor told the team wanted to set a new benchmark with the show's third season and present something new and interesting, especially after the success of season 1 and 2. "I am looking forward to Hyderabad's reaction towards Abhay 3 and I hope that they enjoy this fast paced crime thriller," Kunal added.

Ken Ghosh opined that audiences seek novelty in whatever they watch these days, adding they've put their best foot forward to surprise them with every season of Abhay. He said that the stakes are higher and the crimes are darker in Abhay's third season. The Ishq Vishq filmmaker is quite confident about providing an edge-of-the-seat experience for viewers and is all the more delighted about the fact that Abhay 3 will reach a wider audience by premiering in Tamil and Telugu as well. Abhay 3 takes audiences through the life of Abhay and how he strives to strike a balance between his personal and professional lives under extreme circumstances.
