After Doctor, Sivakarthikeyan and Nelson to reunite for another project

The duo’s crime thriller, Doctor, opened in theatres on October 9 to positive response.

Doctor has hit theatres and the audience are loving the crime thriller. Latest reports now suggest that the director-actor Nelson and Sivakarthikeyan will collaborate once again in a movie backed by Lyca Productions.

According to Times of India, this film will have an “out of the box” plot. No other details about the project are available yet.

Doctor is an entertainer as promised by the team since its announcement, and has Sivakarthikeyan play a medical professional. The crime thriller also dives into the issue of human organ trafficking.

Doctor also stars Priyanka Mohan, Vinay Rai, Archana, Yogi Babu, Arun Alexander, Deepa, Ilavarasu, Milind Soman and Raghu Ram.

The film which has opened well at theatres is reportedly pulling in good numbers. Despite cinemas operating at only 50% capacity, the film has the potential to become one of the biggest Tamil hits of the year.

Nelson is currently working on Beast an action-thriller with Vijay in the lead. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu and Shine Tom Chacko.

Sivakarthikeyan is working on Ayalaan a sci-fi comedy also starring Rakul Preet Singh. The film has completed filming and is in the post-production stage.
