After Pawan Kalyan's OG, Emraan Hashmi is in talks for yet another Telugu biggie; here's what we know

Emraan Hashmi will make his Tollywood debut with the Pawan Kalyan film OG. He is now all set to play a villain in a big hero's new Telugu film. Read to know more.

Emraan Hashmi made heads with his solid role in Salman Khan's Tiger 3, which ended as a decent fare at the box office. He is the new villain in town and is all set to make his Telugu debut with the Pawan Kalyan film OG, which is being directed by Sujeeth Sign, who last directed Saaho with Prabhas.

Well, the news in the Telugu film circles is that Emraan Hashmi has been approached to play a bad guy in Adivi Sesh's new film Goodachari 2. Titled G2, the film is busy with its shoot as of now in a specially constructed set in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

Emraan Hashmi in Adivi Sesh's G2

One of the sources close to the team has revealed to us that discussions with Emraan Hashmi have reached the final stages and very soon he will come on board. Though an official confirmation is yet to be made on this behalf, this news has become a hot topic in the Telugu film circles.

The spy drama is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under the banners People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments. As Goodachari was a smash hit at the box office, the hype for the sequel is quite high.

Adivi Sesh on G2

Adivi Sesh himself has penned the script for this film and he felt that a popular Hindi actor would be a solid addition to the film and approached Emraan Hashmi. In one of his interviews earlier, Adivi Sesh revealed to us that Goodachari 2 is a massive film that unfolds across five countries and Hindi audiences would find it quite appealing.

Now that Emraan Hashmi has been approached, his statement makes a lot of sense. Vinay Kumar is directing this film on a massive scale. Sricharan Pakala composes the music for this film, which will also be shot in the US in the days to come.
