Just as the Hindi-speaking audience has 'wholeheartedly' adopted their films, Shahid Kapoor recently made an appeal to the South Indian audience to do the same for Bollywood films.

In an interview with Bollywood Spy, Shahid suggested that fans of other South Indian languages also check out Hindi films. The actor cited that the Hindi audience has welcomed their films with open arms; now it's their turn to do the same for them. The expansion of the cinema depends on a receptive public and widespread approval.

For further clarification, Shahid stated the recently finished Indian Premier League season, saying that he feels everybody should work with everybody because, as an example, when one watches the IPL, there is a team from every state. In addition to the starting eleven, there are fifteen more players warming up on the bench. So, one may have noticed that there was an India A squad and an India B squad when the Indian team was selected. What's the point of that? Because they have so many talented players, they were able to field a second team. As a result of everyone working together to improve the final outcome, ticket sales will increase, which is why the film industry should follow suit. But everyone needs to adopt the same mentality.

Shahid also compared the action movies of Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, and Akshay Kumar to Ram Charan and Jr. NTR's RRR and Yash's KGF: Chapters 1 and 2.

According to Shahid, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, filmmakers were not able to shoot abroad for their big-scale action pictures; consequently, such films were not released for some time. However, the actor thinks that Bollywood has produced some excellent action movies, including those starring superstars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and others. Hrithik Roshan is a phenomenal performer, and his film War is so awesome.

Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Diana Penty also appear in Ali Abbas Zafar's film Bloody Daddy. On June 9, the movie was made available on JioCinema.
