OTTplay had earlier revealed that ZEE5 has acquired the digital rights to the film for a fancy price and will begin streaming it from February 11, 2026. Once the film lands on OTT, it will also be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

Despite the announcement of its OTT release date, MSG is in no mood to slow down at the box office. The Chiranjeevi-starrer is still pulling in impressive numbers in theatres.

As per the latest update from tracking portal Sacnilk, MSG earned close to ₹2 crore on Sunday, marking its 28th day at the box office. This clearly shows the kind of impact the film continues to have.

With its phenomenal run, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has created multiple records. One of the major milestones is crossing the ₹100 crore share mark in the state of Andhra Pradesh alone.

Internationally as well, the family drama is performing strongly. As per M9 News, the film is nearing the $5 million mark in the US market. Given its strong theatrical run, many have questioned the makers’ decision to opt for an early OTT release, especially when the film is still minting money in cinemas.

Some feel that the Anil Ravipudi directorial should have arrived on OTT at least a month and a half after its theatrical release. However, the makers reportedly struck a special deal with ZEE5, which prompted the early streaming date.

Nayanthara played the female lead in the film, while Venkatesh appeared in a cameo role. His entry in the pre-climax elevated the film to another level and received a thunderous response.

Overall, Anil Ravipudi has delivered yet another successful film after Sankranthiki Vastunnam. He now stands as the only director after Rajamouli to have no flops so far, with all nine of his films turning out to be hits at the box office.
