Akhanda 2 is Balakrishna's new film that was postponed at the last minute on December 5, 2025, due to financial reasons. The makers cleared all the issues and released the film on December 12, 2025, with early premieres on December 11, 2025.

The action drama made a whopping Rs 8 crore from these premiere shows and collected Rs 23 crore on day one worldwide, as per the tracking portal Sacnilk.

On the second day of its release, Akhanda 2 made Rs 16 crore net, which is a decent number. The above-mentioned collections are from all its languages of release.

With this, the total collections of the film have clocked Rs 47 crore. With the weekend setting in and no other big films lined up, Akhanda 2 will surely have a great run at the box office.

The occupancy of Akhanda 2 is close to 55% in multiplexes and 80% in single screens in the Telugu states. When it comes to the US, Akhanda 2 has grossed just over $500k, as per M9 News, and is doing well.

In the days to come, there are no big releases, and that is the reason Akhanda 2 will have a free flow at the box office. However, the Balakrishna film needs at least Rs 100 crore to be in the safe zone, as it was made on a huge budget.
