The actor cited the example of Aryan Khan's directorial debut series The Ba**ds of Bollywood and asked people to watch the show to understand what he is trying to say. "You must have seen The Ba**ds of Bollywood and what our hero had to go through. The film makes it clear what a debutant should and should not do," Akshay added.

Akshay then made a gesture towards Karan Johar and said, "Do not sign a 3-movie deal. Give your debutant freedom. Allow them to run away.
