Race 4 producer Ramesh Taurani, during his interview with HT City, clarified whether Akshaye Khanna is a part of the movie. "No, we have not approached Akshaye. There was no scope at all," the producer shared. He confirmed that all news related to Akshaye Khanna's association with the upcoming movie is simply rumours and the actor's track has ended with the original film.

"There is no thought about getting him. His character gets into an accident in the first movie, his track ended there, and it will remain at that," Taurani clarified.
