Allari Naresh is one of the most seasoned actors in Telugu cinema, but he has been going through a rough patch with flops in recent times. Ever since he transformed into a serious actor, leaving his comedy films aside, Naresh has found success only with a few films like Naandhi, a courtroom drama now available on OTTplay Premium.

Trivirkam Srinivas backs Allari Naresh's comeback film

Well, he has now announced his new film titled Alcohol. The first look of the film has been released and showcases Allari Naresh in an intense avatar. The film is being directed by Meher Teja and is produced by Sithara Entertainments, the makers of DJ Tillu, Daaku Maharaj, Jersey, and Lucky Baskhar.

The film is co-produced by Naga Vamsi and Trivikram Srinivas, making this a big project for Allari Naresh, especially with a name like Trivikram backing it. If Alcohol clicks, it could mark a major turnaround at the box office. Ruhani Sharma plays the female lead, and this is her first collaboration with Allari Naresh—the pairing looks quite fresh.

Jiju Sunny handles the cinematography, and Niranjan Devaramane is the editor. The shooting of the film is halfway through, and the makers say that Alcohol will showcase Allari Naresh like never before. Naresh was last seen in Bachchala Malli, which ended as a flop at the box office. However, his performance was appreciated and won the hearts of many.
