While promoting their next, Brahmastra among the students of IIT Mumbai, Alia Bhatt sang a few lines from the smash hit Kesariya as her co-star husband clapped and smiled.

Bollywood's power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are busy promoting their first acting gig together, Brahmastra which has been directed by close friend and ace director Ayan Mukerji.

The stars, who have an elaborate promotional tour planned of them, recently went to IIT Mumbai to talk about their film. And during the course of the event, Alia Bhatt was requested to sing the film's smash hit Kesariya and the A-Lister was kind enough to oblige.

In a now-viral video, the actress can be heard crooning the soulful song, while Ranbir Kapoor clapped and smiled for her. The video, their sizzling chemistry, is sure to make one go 'awww...'

One fan Fans, too, are loving this unfiltered rendition of the chartbusting number. With one fan writing, “Her voice is soo soulful", while another wrote, “This is so pretty to watch."

The Bollywood actor, during the Chennai leg of their promotional tour, said the people of Tamil Nadu are extremely friendly and welcoming. "I've been watching a lot of Tamil content, and I quite liked Master and Vikram, which has recently become popular here."

Alia Bhatt went on to say how proud she is to be an Indian actor and Brahmastra was a labour of love for Indian cinema. The producers were in Chennai on Wednesday to promote the film ahead of its release. Presenters SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Ranbir Kapoor attended the event.

For the unversed, Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Billed as a trilogy, this one, marks the start of The Astraverse, India's first original movie universe.
