Alia Bhatt describes Ranbir Kapoor and herself as powerful individuals: We're not do jism ek jaan

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were seen on screen together for the first time in Brahmastra which was released on September 9. The two actors are currently enjoying the success of the movie and are preparing to become parents soon. In a recent interview with NDTV, Alia and Ranbir talked about their personal lives and opened up on how they met on the set of a movie.

Alia spoke candidly about the lovely dynamic of the couple. She said, “Ranbir and I are strong individuals, especially me. I don't mean he's not a strong individual. But, we both respect our individual personalities and professional commitments together. We're not do jism ek jaan (two bodies one soul) kind of people. We have a beautiful equation as companions and we have an even better working relationship because we're both passionate about movies."

In a previous interview, Ranbir had acknowledged his "very dependent" relationship with Alia and said he was powerless without her. In an interview with Navbharat Times, Ranbir explained how, despite his many claims about independence and detachment, he is actually incredibly reliant on her. Ranbir further remarked that if he doesn't know where Alia is, he is unable to use the restroom or eat. Alia standing at his side is crucial for him. Additionally, Ranbir remarked that Alia should simply sit beside him and it wouldn't matter if they didn't do anything romantic or perhaps even talking.

The highlight of Brahmastra is regarded as the expansive cinematic universe known as the Astraverse. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna, too, have significant parts to play in the film. Dimple Kapadia, Deepika Padukone, and Shah Rukh Khan make brief appearances in the movie.
