From Ikkis, Love & War to Dhamaal 4, several movies have been postponed and are scheduled for new 2026 release dates. One such film is now Alpha. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer YRF spy action film was set to hit theatres on April 17, 2026. However, a report confirmed that it has now been postponed to avoid a box office clash with Salman Khan's war drama Battle of Galwan.

Alpha release postponed

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported that YRF has postponed the release date of Alpha. The Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer spy action thriller will not be released on April 17, 2026. The film postponed the release date to avoid the box office clash with Salman Khan's upcoming war drama, Battle of Galwan. The report also mentioned that the makers will announce a new release date for Alpha after assessing the theatrical release calendar in the next few months.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Alpha has been postponed. The film was originally scheduled to be released on Christmas 2025. However, it was postponed to April 2026 as the makers were still working on it.

Not only the Battle of Galwan, but Alpha also avoided the box office clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar Part 2, which is slated for a March 19, 2026, release.

When the girl asked what it meant, Bobby's character replied, “Alpha." He also explained that Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and is the motto of their program.: “The first, the fastest, the strongest."

Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, Alpha features intense action and plot twists in dangerous missions. Meanwhile, other films from the YRF Spy Universe include Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Pathaan and War.
