Amazon Prime Video's Modern Love Season 2 to stream on THIS date

The anthology is based on Modern Love by The New York Times.

After a successful rom-com anthology in 2019, Modern Love is set to be back with the second instalment. The first volume streams on Amazon Prime Video and now the OTT platform has announced the release date of the upcoming anthology. Yes, Modern Love will be out on August 13, 2021. The short films are based on Modern Love by The New York Times and helmed by John Carney.

While sharing the announcement, the official Instagram page of Amazon Prime Video IN wrote, "new cast, new love stories, new season. #ModernLove Season 2 premieres this August 13."

As per reports, Modern Love season two stars Anna Paquin, Aparna Nancherla, Ben Rappaport, Dominique Fishback, Garrett Hedlund, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Grace Edwards, Isaac Powell, Kathryn Gallagher, Kit Harington, Larry Owens, Lucy Boynton, Maria Dizzia, Minnie Driver, Nikki M. James, Sophie Okonedo, Susan Blackwell, Telci Huynh, Tobias Menzies, Tom Burke, Zane Pais and Zoë Chao featuring in different films.

Reportedly the titles for these short films are 'The Night Girl Finds a Day Boy', 'How Do You Remember Me?', 'Am I Gay or Straight? Maybe This Fun Quiz Game Will Tell Me', 'A Life Plan for Two, Followed by One', 'In the Waiting Room of Estranged Spouses', 'Train', 'On a Serpentine Road, With the Top Down'.

Meanwhile, the first season of Modern Love featured who's who from Hollywood namely Andrew Scott, Andy García, Anne Hathaway, Arabella Olivia Clark, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Brandon Victor Dixon, Caitlin McGee, Catherine Keener, Cristin Milioti, Dev Patel, Gary Carr, John Gallagher Jr, John Slattery, Julia Garner as Madeline, Olivia Cooke, Shea Whigham, Sofia Boutella and Tina Fey.
