The film, after 26 days, collected Rs. 712.25 crore, as per Sacnilk. However, Dhurandhar faced a huge financial loss due to the ban in the Middle East.

Dhurandhar faces financial loss

In a recent interview with CNN-News18, Dhurandhar’s distributor, Parnab Kapadia, revealed that due to the ban in the Middle East, Aditya Dhar's film faced a huge financial loss. Parnab said, “I think this is at least a $10 million (around ₹90 crore) box office loss, because traditionally action films have always performed very well in the Middle East. Therefore, we strongly feel that the film should have received a release there.”

He further added that at the same time, they respect the views, rules and regulations of every territory and country, as they have their reasons. Pranab explained that this is not the first film to be denied a release, as Fighter was also not released before this, along with several others. "We made every possible effort to ensure the film was released, but ultimately, Dhurandhar has found its audience, if not in the Gulf, then elsewhere," he said.

Parnab also stated that the December holiday season played a significant role in expanding the film's reach beyond its core audience in the Gulf region. He noted that this period saw substantial foreign travel, particularly from the Middle East to Europe and the United States. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar collected Rs. 1101 crore globally, as of now.
