Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's career earned a huge boost in 2022 with the surprise success of Bimbisara, the folklore cum time-travel saga helmed by newcomer Vasishta (currently streaming on ZEE5). The actor-producer is keen to continue his victorious streak with his upcoming film titled Amigos, which was officially announced today. Amigos, produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, is set to hit theatres on February 10, 2023.

A special poster of Amigos was also launched to offer viewers a glimpse into the film's theme. Amigos promises to be a psychological thriller that has enough in it to please action junkies too. A note on the film's title poster reads, "They say when you meet somebody that looks just like you, you die." The poster showcases Kalyan Ram taking a step forward in three different directions in contrasting avatars. Ashika Ranganath is cast as the female lead. Ghibran scores the music for the film which has cinematography by Soundar Rajan S.

The technical team of Amigos looks formidable. While it has Avinash Kolla as the production desginer, the project is edited by Tammiraju. Shobi choreographs the dance sequences while Venkat and Ram Kishan design the action segments. Sri Veturi , Rehman and Ramajogaiah Sastry are the lyricists for the film. Rajesh and Ashwin are the costume designers respectively. Hari Tummala and Cherry are the executive producer and the CEO.

Kalyan Ram is also working on Devil with Naveen Medaram and another untitled actioner with KV Guhan (they'd earlier also worked for 118). The actor is also producing his brother Jr NTR's upcoming film with Koratala Siva, which is currently in its pre-production stages.
