Andhra King Taluka is all set to hit the screens on November 14, 2025. Ram Pothineni and Kannada superstar Upendra play key roles in this film directed by Mahesh Babu P. Not many know, but Andhra King Taluka is the story of an ardent movie buff who gets upset when his favorite movie star ignores him in life.

Balakrishna rejects Andhra King Taluka

Director Mahesh Babu P was quite sure that he wanted star hero Balakrishna to play that role, as the character closely resembles Balakrishna's real-life image and the way he deals with his fans.

So, he approached the star, but to his bad luck, Balakrishna rejected the offer right away. Despite having a strong character, Balayya rejected it, saying he does not want to do special roles anymore in Telugu films.

Left with no choice, Mahesh approached Upendra, and he readily agreed to do the film. Upendra plays a massive movie star in Andhra King Taluka, and his character has negative shades.

One of the sources close to the unit has revealed to us that the film is a reality check for all the fans who spoil their lives by going after stars who do not even oblige them in real life.
