Andhra King Taluka is the story of an ardent fan, Sagar, played by Ram Pothineni. He is showcased as an aimless youth who goes to any extent for his idol, Surya, played by Kannada superstar Upendra. Ram Pothineni is seen in a youthful look as he plays the character of an ardent fan quite convincingly.

The manner in which director Mahesh Babu P brings in the conflict point of the fan being sidelined by his favorite hero is showcased interestingly in the trailer. Bhagyashree Borse, who is riding high on the success of her new film Kaantha, plays the female lead and shares solid chemistry with Ram.

The core aspect of the film is what happens when a star comes down to deal with his ardent fan who is going through issues, which looks interesting. Why does Ram’s character turn rebel, and what does the star do to get his fan back on track? This forms the basic story.

The period drama has great visuals, and the emotions feel quite relatable. Speaking at the trailer launch, Ram stated that every fan who hero-worships his favorite star will connect deeply with the film.
