In the past few years, Amazon Prime Video had reduced its focus on producing content in the Telugu OTT space. However, things are now back on track, as Amazon Prime is ready with multiple shows and originals.

After the success of Keerthy Suresh’s Uppu Kapuram, Amazon Prime Video is back with yet another web series titled Arabia Kadali. The series features popular Telugu actors Satya Dev and Anandhi in the lead roles.

The special aspect of Arabia Kadali is that it has been created by award-winning star director Krish Jagarlamudi. One of his protégés, Verse Five Surya Kumar, is directing the series, which will have a total of eight episodes.

Amazon Prime Video recently revealed the first look, which shows Satya Dev and Anandhi in a tense mood. In the background of the poster, Satya Dev is seen locked in a jail. The title itself hints that the series is about a man stuck in a Gulf country, how he ends up in prison, and how he attempts to get out.

It is also reported that the series is inspired by real-life incidents. The show is co-created by Srinivasa Rao and produced under the banner of First Frame Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. with Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi (Krish’s father) jointly backing the project.

This marks the first time the talented actress Anandhi is playing a role in a web series. Arabia Kadali also features a strong supporting cast including Nasser, Raghu Babu, Dalip Tahil, Poonam Bajwa, Harsh Roshan, Pratyusha Sadhu, Kota Jayaram, Vamsi Krishna, and Ravi Verma in key roles.

Along with the poster, the makers announced that Arabia Kadali will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from August 8, 2025. Satya Dev and Anandhi will be seen in intense roles. The trailer and other details will be out soon.

It is a fictional series that narrates the story of a group of fishermen who accidentally cross into international waters and end up imprisoned. The show promises to highlight friendships, forge new relationships, and deliver high emotional impact.

On the other hand, Satya Dev will next be seen in Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom, which hits the screens on July 31, 2025. He has a negative role in the film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
