Aranyak Raveena Tandon's streaming debut, is now available to view on Netflix. The series, which revolves around two hill station cops trying to solve a murder mystery, has mostly received positive reviews.

A second season of the show is in the works, Tanya Bami, series head, Netflix India, told Mid-Day. She said that the show was conceptualised in a way so it has multiple seasons.

"We are actively developing the second season of Aranyak. When we [explore] an idea, we look for the potential to turn it into a franchise. We [keep] the writers’ room running even [when the show is in] production. Once you understand the characters, it’s good to keep that momentum going," said Bami.

Joining Tandon's character Kasturi Dogra in the puzzling investigation is Parambrata Chatterjee. Also part of the cast is Ashutosh Rana, Zakir Hussain, and Meghna Mallik.

Produced by Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, the series is directed by Vinay Waikul from a script by Charudutt Acharya. Filmmaker Rohan Sippy is the creator and showrunner.
