Arjun Janya's casting call for the female lead of '45'

Prolific music composer Arjun Janya is all set to try his hand at film direction and much to his delight, he has three big names as part of the project. Shiva Rajkumar, Sandalwood's own Century Star, is headlining the film with Kabzaa actor Upendra and the very talented Raj B. Shetty, too, starring alongside in this studded film, which is intriguingly titled 45.

M. Ramesh Reddy, who has previously produced films like Naticharami, Paddehuli and Gaalipata 2, produces Arjun Janya's maiden directorial.

With three major actors already part of the cast, Arjun Janya and co. are now on the hunt for their female lead and are wishing to cast a fresh face for the role. The team sent out a special call to invite aspiring female actors to audition for the exciting role and get a glorious chance of starring alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra and Raj B. Shetty.

As per the audition call, the makers of 45 are on the lookout for a Kannada-speaking, 'homely-looking' female actor in the age bracket of 18 to 28. Aspiring actors can send across their photographs, video reels and performance videos (in Kannada) to the team and pursue the opportunity of working on this high-profile project.

Shiva Rajkumar and Upendra, who first collaborated back in 1995 when the latter directed the Hattrick Hero in the cult classic Om will be sharing the screen after more than two decades. Though, fans were treated to their special reunion in Kabzaa, wherein Shivanaa made a cameo appearance.

Raj B. Shetty, who is currently shooting for his Malayalam debut Rudhiram (alongside Aparna Balamurali), is successfully juggling between acting and direction. He has already wrapped his third directorial Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye in which he also stars in the lead role along with Siri Ravikumar - we hear that he has discreetly finished shooting his fourth film as a director.
