Anil Ravipudi-Chiranjeevi film wraps up first schedule

Chiranjeevi is one of the biggest stars in the country and is doing back-to-back films to keep himself busy. One of them is with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam fame Anil Ravipudi. The film was announced on a grand note and began shooting a few days ago in Hyderabad.

As per the latest update, we at OTTplay have learned that the makers have already wrapped up the first schedule of the film. After filming a few solo scenes featuring Chiranjeevi, the schedule was completed at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, where a special set was erected for the shoot.

The family drama will be high on comedy and will feature Vallavan and Aramm star Nayanthara as the female lead. She is reportedly being paid big bucks to act opposite Chiranjeevi.

As news of the first schedule’s completion emerged, another film of Chiranjeevi, Vishwambhara, also made headlines. The film has yet to lock its release date, and due to this delay, fans have started trolling director Vassishta and the makers over the lack of updates. Some even joked that Chiranjeevi's film with Anil Ravipudi will release during Sankranthi 2026, while Vishwambhara might still be in post-production.

Vishwambhara gets trolled brutally

The teaser for Vishwambhara was released last year but faced flak for its tacky VFX. An upset Chiranjeevi reportedly asked the makers to scrap the existing work and redo the entire graphics, which is now underway.

Coming back to Anil Ravipudi's film, Venkatesh is expected to do a cameo. The main villain has yet to be finalized, but there is speculation that RX100 fame Karthikeya will take on the role. Although unconfirmed, the news has gone viral. For now, Anil Ravipudi seems in no mood to slow down and is quickly moving forward with the project.
