Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, the movie is produced by Abraham's JA Entertainment and stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh

John Abraham has been making movies in the action genre for a long time now and he was last seen in the sci-fi action flick, Attack. The actor has now opened up about his desire for the genre.
In an interview with ETimes, the actor was asked about his desire to make action movies in the sci-fi genre and his attempt to encourage more Indian filmmakers to make projects in the sci-fi drama. "I have not led a way to encourage more filmmakers and actors to explore sci-fi and nor am I trying to give a tough competition to action films internationally,” John said.
Abraham also stated that he just did something he believed in and so that he is not encouraging filmmakers to explore a new genre. He added that he just believed in the concept of the movie.
The action star then said that Indian cinema cannot compete with the massive budgets of Hollywood movies in the genre. John also said that he is simply trying to make the best of whatever budget he has.
Ahead of the release of Attack, its setting and storyline was one of the movie’s main highlights. The film revolves around the idea that future wars will be fought on technology and artificial intelligence. John plays a modified super-soldier in the movie. Even with its fresh concept, the film failed to impress the audience as a whole.
“The action begins as soon as the film starts and it is on point too. The visuals are grand and clear, which makes the action the best part of the movie. Slow-motion action really works when it comes to this film,” reads the movie’s review on OTTplay.
John Abraham’s Attack will soon be available on OTT. This film is set to make its digital premiere on ZEE5 on May 27.
