On October 10, the forthcoming Malayalam movie Avihitham is scheduled to be released. In the meantime, Senna Hegde is receiving favourable reviews after a celebrity preview screening in Kochi yesterday (October 8), with many describing it as a good package of entertaining and thought-provoking elements.

The movie's crew and actors attended the special preview on October 8. The majority of opinion after the screening was that Avihitham is a heartwarming social message and a comedy riot. The director also received recognition for bringing in a distinctive family entertainer, similar to his previous highly acclaimed film, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam which is available in many languages for streaming on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium.

"A captivating Malayalam masterpiece filled with heart, soul, and unforgettable moments," a spectator posted on X. Nikhila Vimal described the movie as a good watch, centred on a simple theme. Vaazha-fame Meenakshi mentioned that the subtle comedy in the film worked well. Additionally, the makers stated that a few theatres throughout the state will provide paid previews starting at 9 pm tonight (October 9). It remains to be seen if the movie will draw large crowds to theatres after its big-screen premiere on October 10. Additionally, it is anticipated to attract viewers through word-of-mouth publicity.

What is Senna Hegde's Avihitham all about?

Prakashan discovers an affair between a neighbour named Vinod and a young woman working for Madhavan, a local carpenter, one evening after going out to drink with friends. Prakashan discusses this issue with the tailor, Venu. The main focus of the movie is how they all attempt to identify the 'culprits' the next night.

Among the cast members of Avihitham who have significant parts are Unniraj, Renji Kankol, Vineeth Chakyar, Dhanesh Koliyat, Rakesh Ushar, Ajith Punnad, Unnikrishnan Parappa, Aneesh Chemmarathi, T Gopinathan, Vrinda Menon, Vijisha Nileshwaram, Ammini Chandralayam, and Parvana Raj. Based on a story developed by Ambareesh Kalathera, Senna and Kalathera wrote the screenplay for Avihitham. The film's cinematography was directed by Ramesh Mathews. Senna is also well-known for his previous directorials, 1744 White Alto and Katheyondu Shuruvagide.
