Baaghi 4 marks Tiger Shroff's return to the big screen after a long time with an absolute surpise. The intensity of the actions raised so much that it made the film garnered 'A' certificate from CBFC. However, the action drama was making quite a buzz pre-release with soaring expectations, yet opened with a mediocre collection at the box office, but game a tough competition to The Conjuring: Last Rites and The Bengal Files on its opening day.

Also starring Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaz Sandhu in the leads, Baaghi 4 collected Rs 12 crore on its first day of release. Unfortunately, it failed to shatter Baaghi 3 and Baaghi 2's opening collections, which were Rs 17.5 crore and Rs 25.10 core respectively. Despite slightly modest opening compared to its predecessors, experts believe Baaghi 4 can gain momentum over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Vivek Agnihotri's The Bengal Files collected Rs 1.75 crore on its opening day, making Baaghi 4 beat the political drama for the first Hindi releases of the month. From Hollywood, The Conjuring: Last Rites urpassed the duo with a collection of Rs 18 crore at the box office in India.

Baaghi 4 saw an overall audience turnout of about 28% yesterday. The night owl moviegoes were the most excited ones, filling up theaters with a whopping 37% occupancy, proving that late-night thrills are a hit. The afternoon and evening crowds were not far behind, showing up in good numbers, even the early birds were active. Cities like Jaipur, Lucknow, Chennai, Bengaluru, and the Delh area went wild for the film, showing their intact love for the action franchise.
