To start off, Rajamouli himself graced the premiere of the film in Hyderabad and addressed the fans. Speaking to the crowd, he said that the only reason to re-release the film was the love the fans have shown for the epic over the last decade.
Well, the film has officially released and is getting great reactions. Firstly, the visual quality has been enhanced, the VFX work has been improved in a few scenes, and DI coloring has also been added. The film's runtime is three hours and forty-five minutes, and a few feel that it is way too lengthy to sit through such a long period of time.
Yet another complaint from the audience who watched the film was that the first half was slow and lengthy and did not generate much hype. As the masala was packed into the second half, the audience is loving the latter part.
However, there are also a few who have trolled certain scenes in the film, such as Prabhas lifting the Shivling on his shoulders. Some have questioned the edit pattern of the film, calling it weird. But the general reaction is amazing, as the audience is loving the film completely in theatres.
As per the latest update, the re-release has already grossed ₹5 crore from its premiere shows alone. The film is posing a threat to this week’s release Mass Jathara, such is the craze for the Prabhas starrer. Rajamouli has once again proved that he is a master, even with the re-release trend, and the collections will say it all.
With such craze, the makers are looking at solid profits even from its re-release. The ticket prices have not been hiked, and fans say this is one of the best things for those who booked tickets over the weekend.
