The song is a visual treat as well, as it will keep smiling throughout the song. Subtly narrating the wedding of Rajkummar Rao’s Shardul and Bhumi Pednekar’s Sumi, the song deals with many expressions, emotions and moments. With the perfect blend of thoughtful lyrics, melodious music and acoustic beats, the track altogether seems to be a hit during this valentine's season.
After the quirky visuals, eye-grabbing trailer and the colourful title track, Badhaai Do has been making some really powerful storms all over the web. Under the music label of Zee Music, the foot-tapping title track and the entire album is composed jointly by Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi, Ankit Tiwari and Khamosh Shah. The lyrics are written by Varun Grover, Vayu, Anurag Bhomia, Azeem Shirazi and Anvita Dutt.
Meanwhile, Badhaai Do, which is the spiritual sequence to the 2018 release Badhaai Ho, is helmed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni. The movie is reported to be a comedy-drama, which also deals with an intense theme. In a recent interaction with ETimes, Rajkummar had opened about the film and his character. According to the actor, the movie is a whirlpool of emotions, which handles humour and emotional dramatic elements hand in hand. Talking about his character, he also revealed that the team is trying to normalise his sexuality, rather than focusing on him being gay.
