Mariam navigates life and art with her closest pals, Robo and DJ Psycho, her bandmates from the same town. They bring music, laughter, and friendship to every step of her journey. As Mariam shares her passion through poetry, the trio's shared creativity inspires them all. Throughout eight episodes, small choices and bonds gradually help Mariam find her confidence and her voice.

Swanand Kirkire, who is also the co-creator and co-writer of the series, stated that Bandwaale is a story that grew from everyday observations about expression, hesitation, and the quiet courage it takes to be yourself.

"Writing this series allowed us to explore how small choices slowly shape confidence and identity.
