Baramulla Ending Explained

DSP Ridwaan Sayyed (Manav Kaul) moves with his family into a new house in the town of Baramulla, Kashmir, while investigating the mysterious child disappearances. A street magic show in Baramulla begins with Shoaib disappearing into a box in a classic vanishing act. Ridwaan considers it a human crime, but with the growing number of kid disappearances and town whispering about ghosts, doubts grow in Ridwaan's mind. The kids from Blooming Petals Public School go missing, and the teacher Zainab becomes unusually helpful. Meanwhile, during the ongoing investigation, the Sayyed family realises that their new house is haunted, while white tulips appear near disappearance scenes, and smoke figures, and a hidden past is shown.

Gripping Supernatural Thriller Series

The kids did not disappear supernaturally, but the film at first makes it look like a supernatural abduction. It is a mix of human crime and supernatural intervention, almost reminding fans of Stranger Things' Upside Down. A group led by “Bhaijaan” (later revealed to be Zainab) was identifying vulnerable children and planning to recruit them for illegal deeds. While these disappearances were real kidnappings, not ghost attacks, Sayyed's daughter, Noorie's (Arista Mehta) disappearance was related to the ghostly spirits.

When Noorie disappeared, her mother realised that before them, the house belonged to Kashmir Pandits. The spirits that haunt the house are not evil - they are the restless spirits of the Sapru family, who are bound to the house by hurt and betrayal. Meanwhile, whenever a kid goes missing, one tulip petal falls.

In the finale, the militants attack Ridwaan's house. In the chaos, supernatural forces are fully revealed, and the past pain of the Sapru house is revealed once again. Zainab, named "Bhaijaan" has been revealed - a school teacher who assisted the police investigation but was in reality running a child recruitment network. It was she who betrayed the Saprus many years ago, and due to the betrayal, the whole Sapru family was murdered; thus, their spirits live in the house waiting for their revenge on Zainab. The spirits work to protect the children and the Sayyed family. After the death of Zainab, the missing children begin to return to the place where they disappeared, safe and sound, including Noorie.

Meanwhile, the white tulip is a sign of Sapru Spirits' presence, a memory of innocent loss, and also symbolises a message that the past still lives.
